Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Advice from Tiger Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete has considerable online presence

Kai Trump will have multiple high-profile cheerleaders as she makes her first LPGA appearance later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, possesses numerous international courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.

"He's fairly competent. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

Kai explained that Trump, who cannot attend, told her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He essentially advised me to go out there and have fun," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's occupied with presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has participated in only three events this year and maintains ranking 461 in AJGA standings.

Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with Kai's mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer globally," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He advised me to go out there, relax, and go with the flow."

Kai will face some of the biggest names in women's golf at this tournament, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

The LPGA commented that Kai's presence exposes the sport to wider groups, particularly with younger fans.

Kai has a massive following and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
