Plane Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Windshield
A jet carrying Pete Hegseth was forced to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was identified in the jet's front window, according to an announcement which confirmed that Hegseth was safe.
"The plane landed based on standard procedures and all passengers, including Pete Hegseth, is safe," an official representative stated in a public statement.
Hegseth was returning from a brief trip to the Belgian capital during the flight.
This incident isn't the initial instance that a American defense plane transporting a high-ranking official has experienced mechanical issues.
Earlier this year, a American military jet carrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to Munich was required to turn back to Washington DC after experiencing a technical issue.
