Mohamed Salah Offers Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has shared that Salah said sorry to the team after the controversy from his public comments.

He was omitted from a European match after voicing frustrations and stating his relationship with manager had deteriorated.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He said sorry to the group and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, please accept my apology.’”
The manager has chosen not to reveal on whether he was apologised to from the player.

Jones insisted that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him,” he continued.
He also suggested that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I get that there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the period after the interview fallout. He feels the forward's comments were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a place of caring,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re uniting strongly, performing and on a positive run.”
